Pre-Assessment Nurse Estera Kajdzak achieves 100% MCQ pass mark

Congratulations to Oaks Pre-Assessment Nurse Estera Kajdzak for achieving a 100% MCQ pass mark and excellent assessed scenario in a recent Acute Illness Management (AIM) Course held at Oaks Hospital on Friday 18th October.

The course is part of the Ramsay Mandatory Training Programme for all Nurses and aims to optimise the outcome for patients at risk of developing acute illness by enhancing the knowledge, confidence and performance of staff. The course encourages teamwork, communication, promotion of the multi-disciplinary approach to patient care and addresses clinical governance and risk.

The purpose of the assessed element of the course is to provide positive, constructive individual feedback and identify learning needs with the candidate. It can also be used to reflect on their practice and be included in their portfolio as an aid to development.

Michelle Barton, Outpatient Manager said “Training courses such as the AIM programme is not only an important part of patient safety and maintaining staff education – it is also about valuing and investing in the team. Very well done indeed to Estera and all the other candidates who have successfully completed the programme”.
