Academic Background

Samantha Qualified as a physiotherapist from the University of Essex in 2009, Following completing two years of junior rotations at Ipswich Hospital, she travelled and worked in New Zealand for a year. Since then she has worked in both the private sector and the NHS, specialising in orthopaedics and musculoskeletal injuries, including working as a pitch side physiotherapist at Colchester Rugby Club. She is dedicated to furthering her practice through attending courses which has given her a broad base of treatment options to choose from including: manual therapy, taping, and exercise rehabilitation. She is a fully certified Pilates teacher, accredited in acupuncture and is currently undertaking a masters module for musculoskeletal pathologies. She joined the Oaks in 2016 as a bank physiotherapist in both inpatients and outpatients. Her interests involve treating all musculoskeletal and orthopaedic injuries.


Mr Marcin Dudziewicz - Physiotherapy

A wide range of experience in outpatients and currently studying for the International Federation of Orthopaedic Manipulative Physiotherapists (IFOMPT).


Ms Kasha Jazwinska - Physiotherapy

Musculoskeletal conditions using acupuncture, taping and manual therapy along with setting tailored rehabilitation programmes. Hand splinting and hand therapy. Pre-operative assessments and spends time with orthopaedic patients on the ward. Lower limb.

Academic Background

Kasha qualified in 2006 in Poland. She worked initially in the NHS at Colchester General Hospital, getting experience in treatment of musculoskeletal conditions in a gym, hydrotherapy pool and orthopaedic ward. She joined Oaks Hospital in 2012 as a senior physiotherapist in outpatients.


Ms Clare Kemp - Physiotherapy

Academic Background

Clare qualified from Kings College London. After working at two London teaching hospitals and working at various hospitals in England, Northern Ireland and Germany, returned to her home town of Colchester in 2003. She worked as an Extended Scope Physiotherapy Specialist at St Peter's Hospital in Maldon as Clinical Orthopaedic Specialist Physiotherapist. Clare joined the Oaks Hospital in 2012 as the Head of Physiotherapy.

Ms Charlotte Ridsdale - Physiotherapy

Charlie qualified with a First-class Honours degree in Physiotherapy in 2006 from the University of East London, and began her career at Oaks Hospital building her knowledge and skills in orthopaedics and musculoskeletal physiotherapy over the years. She has extended her knowledge of the upper limb and hand through attendance of accredited courses becoming a Clinical Specialist in Upper Limb in 2012.


Mr Timothy H D Williams - Orthopaedics

Mr. Williams' clinical interests are disorders affecting the lower limb, particularly the foot and ankle. His consultations can assess Injuries or acquired pain and deformity affecting the lower limb from toes to calf and the effects it can have on the rest of the body. He undertakes deformity correction (from bunions to ankle collapse) and arthritis pain relief surgeries. Academic Background

Mr. Williams Qualified in 1999 from Guy's and St. Thomas's Medical School. His basic surgical training took him to Greater London and Oxford before he took up his Orthopaedic Career in 2005. As a registrar he worked with eminent surgeons in Cambridge and East Anglia before undertaking his most senior fellowship at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH Stanmore)in Northwest London. This Foot & ankle subspecialist post with Mr. Dishan Singh preceded his appointment as Consultant in Colchester in 2011. As a trainee and latterly as consultant he has remained a clear educationalist and advocate of governance and quality. He is an active member of his specialist surgical society (BOFAS) serving on the Committee for Education. He teaches surgical trainees at many different levels and is helping lead the training of specialist nurses and allied healthcare practitioners in Foot & Ankle. He is published in the written professional press on subjects of the foot and ankle and regularly lectures to a variety of audiences both locally and nationally.
